However, the world is wide and surfboards to get to you in perfect conditions, can be quite a journey these days. That is why we encourage you to tell the carrier to write down "revision pending" upon delivery. After, please follow some steps before you unpack and enjoy the content of your package.

Returns or exchanges can be done in person in one of our local stores or by mail. Note that all items must be in their original state with tags and accompanied by proof of purchase. Doubts? > sales@pukassurfshop.com

 

· Items | Can be returned within 30 calendar days from the time of purchase. 

· Perishable goods | Surfboards, magazines/books, maps or gift cards, etc., cannot be returned*.

THOMAS SURFBOARDS | MALIBU

A classic style nose rider for idiot proof tip time. Borrowing a proven rocker from the Harrison model the Malibu adds some width up front to make it plenty stable and easy to perch on.

The MALIBU

The chamfered rail keeps it up on top of the water, high n tight, with plenty of lift generated from a generous blended nose concave. A mellow roll to medium foiled 50/50 rail that thins out at that tail in a typical Thomas fashion. This keeps it agile for a noserider and gives it that typical Aussie feel from the tail to what could be considered a pretty Californian style noserider.

| Thomas 'Doc' Bexon, The Rad Shaper

The first 20 surfboards that he made were done in his mother’s garage. Can you imagine a 14 year-old boy shaping his own boards in his mom’s garage trying to make what he saw about boards on TV work? Well, he got a lot of experience like that and he considers himself lucky to have started at such a young age building and learning the basics of surfboards.

The mid 60's have been a big influence on Thomas Bexon in terms of surfboard making because a crazy progression in surfing history was happening then: Hayden, McTavish and Keyo, you name it. 

In the last decades Thomas is confident and happy about how his longboards perform when it comes to logging, stall-turns trim and good old-fashioned nose riding. The key element for him is the shape of the board, particularly the rolled bottoms, and not the size what makes them stand out. He also is shaping twinnies, mini-simmons, performance quads, hulls and eggs.

“Hopefully, I will never get sick of shaping and I really love doing it and I will do it until I’m old and I cannot do it anymore” –Bexon.

Friends and team riders have been the ones giving input to Thomas over the years and have been a great help to keep polishing the designs types demanded by surfers. Years of testing and shaping has giving him not only the experience but also the wisdom to give us some advice:

· Buying a surfboard that suits your surfing now is a mistake. Look ahead instead, not where you are at the present.

· The only secret to surf progression that has helped Thomas Bexon is the love of surfing and the eagerness to surf whenever the opportunity was there.

·  Using good materials and not cutting corners in the building process are the basics of what makes a good board.

Surfboards we hold in stock are ready for inmediate dispatch (24-48h from Monday to Friday) and will arrive at your doorstep in a few days depending on your location. By the way, we ship world wide.

Our Custom Board Builder allows you to customize size, width, thickness, volume, color, logo placement, glassing, fin setup, fin system, finish and overall look. Factory lead times may vary depending on your desired brand, model and surfboard characteristics.

Each board goes through a quality check, is photographed in our studios in Donostia / San Sebastian (Basque Country, Spain) and is handled with care before heading your way.
