Returns or exchanges can be done in person in one of our local stores or by mail. Note that all items must be in their original state with tags and accompanied by proof of purchase. Doubts? > sales@pukassurfshop.com

PUKAS SURFBOARDS | WATER LION

Shaping a surfboard for solid European waves was Chris Christenson's initial concept. The first two waves that came to his mind were Mundaka and Hossegor.

The WATER LION

Basically the whole concept is to fill the gap between your performance short board and your step up by adding performance to your step up. It's designed to start working well in 3 foot (head high) proper hollow waves and can definitely be pushed to 6-8 foot waves (double to more than double over head).

MORE ABOUT WATER LION

The outline has same concept as the CARRERA with the fuller front end for paddling, which is what you need to get into bigger surf. The tail was influenced by one of Chris' shaping heroes, Pat Rawson.

"I have always been attracted by the baby squash tail that he used to do in the 80s and 90s, so this is a little homage to him. What the baby squash tail does opposed to the round pin is it brings two pivot points to the tip of the tail to allow the board to go rail to rail quicker" concludes Chris.

Surfboards we hold in stock are ready for inmediate dispatch (24-48h from Monday to Friday) and will arrive at your doorstep in a few days depending on your location. By the way, we ship world wide.

Our Custom Board Builder allows you to customize size, width, thickness, volume, color, logo placement, glassing, fin setup, fin system, finish and overall look. Factory lead times may vary depending on your desired brand, model and surfboard characteristics.

Each board goes through a quality check, is photographed in our studios in Donostia / San Sebastian (Basque Country, Spain) and is handled with care before heading your way.
