Mulier studio is a project born to express an inner journey back to our essence. Its creator, Silvia Durán, seeks to explore the symbolic connection between wax, as a material of expression, and personal and spiritual transformation. Colour, shapes and aromas emerge to anchor us in the present moment and discover our own capacity for transformation. The mere contemplative experience seeks to portray the stages of a process that as a result leads us to discover our own light. We mould the wax to represent the intangibility of this process. We invite you to embrace your wound, as this is the place where the light will enter.
As these are handmade pieces, their measurements are approximate. In turn, the color may vary slightly from the one shown in the photos.
Materials
We use soy wax, with silky texture, neutral odor and free of pesticides, herbicides and GMO. We use a minimum percentage of mineral wax for the stability of the piece.
Care tips
Our wax figures are designed to be a decorative object, whose mere contemplative experience allows you to enjoy the color, shape and aroma.
To light the piece we recommend not to do it without a support at the base and only in heat resistant containers or supports, capable of containing the liquid wax. Do not leave it lit for more than 2 hours at a time. When lighting it, do not leave it unattended and keep it out of the reach of children and animals.
As the pieces are irregularly shaped, the wick may burn faster in some places than in others. If the flame is very strong cut the wick a little, if on the contrary the flame is drowned, pour some of the melted wax.
Virgin wax candles, due to the effect of time and temperature changes, may be covered with a faint whitish layer. This is not a defect; it is a sign of the quality and purity of the wax. To remove it, simply rub the candle gently with your hands or a dry cloth.
