Returns or exchanges can be done in person in one of our local stores or by mail. Note that all items must be in their original state with tags and accompanied by proof of purchase. Doubts? > sales@pukassurfshop.com

The Twinzer concept itself has deep roots in surfboard design, dating back to experiments in the late ‘90s with multi-fin configurations that added small forward “canard” fins to improve flow and control. While the idea proved successful in competition and performance surfing, it remained relatively niche for years. Recently, however, the Twinzer setup has made a strong comeback, driven by a new wave of surfers and shapers exploring alternative performance designs. The RNF Twinzer 96er taps into this renewed interest, blending heritage with modern innovation.

The result is a surfboard that feels both familiar and progressive. The Lost RNF Twinzer 96er offers the speed and glide of a classic fish, combined with the added drive and precision of a Twinzer fin system. It’s a board designed for surfers who want to get the most out of every session, whether in everyday conditions or when pushing performance. A true modern take on a timeless design, built for speed, flow, and fun in all kinds of waves.

Starting with the proven foundation of the RNF ’96, Lost Surfboards chose the safest and most logical path to develop the RNF Twinzer 96er. With over 30 years of R&D and thousands of boards shaped, the RNF ’96 is one of the most tested and reliable performance fish surfboards ever made. By keeping the original outline largely unchanged and introducing the Twinzer+ fin setup, surfers can clearly feel the impact of the fin configuration without questioning the board’s shape. Subtle adjustments were made to optimize performance, including a slightly wider tail and nose (balanced at 12” from the tips), a deeper double concave through the tail, and refined foil for improved flow and control.

To increase versatility, Lost added a fifth mini fin box in the rear stabilizer position, opening up multiple fin setup options. The board performs as a traditional Twinzer surfboard with two main fins and forward canards, but can also be ridden with a custom mini trailer for added grip and hold in more powerful waves. This Twinzer+ system enhances speed, drive, and control while keeping the tail light and responsive. The result is a highly adaptable high-performance fish surfboard, capable of delivering both freedom in small waves and confidence when conditions become more demanding.
